100.7 to EDIT old voiced Wolfman Jack tracks

Word has it they're going to edit the late great Wolfman Jack's
old voiced promos to make them sound like he's saying: "The Wolf"

Wonder where they got the permission to do THAT?? - should be interesting

XM Radio has been airing the old Wolfman Jack syndicated shows from the 80's in one hour blocks nightly; they said it is "under license from the Wolfman Jack estate". They have also creatively edited some Wolfman Jack drops for their promos and liners.

I wouldn't doubt that since The Wolf is a cloned format in many markets (like Jack?) that the consultant for the format has made a similar deal with the Wolfman Jack estate and uses those liners nationally.

If they did, it would be a brand new low for Seattle radio
