100.7 WFLA Tallahassee

I was listren to FSU Baseball Game on 100.7 WFLA I notice the WFLA's 100.7 singal gotting weaker and weaker around the big bend area than in town. WFLA is 11,500 watts station own by Clear Channel.
Sometimes I hread another 100.7 from Tampa Bay's Mix 100.7 blooming in every once in a while.

I like thier sister station My 107.1 WGMY-FM playing good Hot AC/Top40 mix in :)

Funny I live in Citrus County (The Nature Coast) and would occasionally listen to 101.5 The Point out of Tampa. Well one night last summer (Just pulling out of Wal-Marts parking lot.) I tuned in and was then listening to X101.5 out Tallahassee. I live 60 Miles north of Tampa but 170 SW of Tally.

Well as told by someone else on the board that is Tropospheric Ducting. Atmospheric conditions that case radio signals to travel very far. Usually caused by Warm and Humid conditions off the gulf.

A few weeks ago I picked up Bob FM from Ft. Myers as well as Tallys My 107.1. Which pretty much eliminated 107.3 The Eagle's signal.

Wow Gamefreak Here in north Florida (Tallahassee) and the big bend area when it's spring and summer time as well we get those Tampa/St. Petersurg stations up here as well. Yes 101.5 The Point sometimes get on top of Tallahassee's X-101.5 dail. X-101.5 is also a clear channel station in Tallahassee as well. If u like to listren to My 107.1 from Tallahassee thier website is http://www.my1071.com/main.html
