100.7 WLEV a format template

Looks like Citadel took the flukey (and more importantly, CHEAP)success of Allentown's WLEV as a template for the new 106.7 format. I say flukey because they futzed around with WLEV's name, format and air staff for aboutv six years before they stablized the station.

I thought of that, but 106.7 is actually a touch softer and older than the current WLEV. You wouldn't hear Stephanie Mills "Never Knew Love Like This Before" or "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" on WLEV. I actually wish WLEV would copy this format. But 'LEV finally stabalized after 6 years, like you said, so why tinker with it.
