I heard that Clear Channel was planing to broadcast La Preciosa on 101.1 hd or something like that. Is that true???

Nah. Fair enough question. Just... lots of posts. :) But thats okay. They're just kinda vague. I'd say all HD formats are here to stay until it's stated otherwise, they're not too quick to flip formats that few people are listening to anyways.

I'm not sure how the stations are keeping track of listeners on the HD channels. And while the flip of the regular analog signal gets a lot of publicity, there is little said about the HD channels. At some point in the future, I think they will be promoted a lot more heavily than they are now.

And keep asking questions - you just need a thick skin with some people on this board. ;D

don't sweat it. You're freshening up the board with your questions! For God's sake, I hadn't posted in months until you came along so I for one am glad you're here. The lifeblood of anyone of these boards is posts and if there's nothing for all us radio guys to post on then our sense of worth will spiral down the drain of corporate radio.
 
I dont even plan on getting HD Radio for my place at Lavaca county for a while yet, There is not a format yet that I really want over HD that I cant get on analog. Pretty sad.
