101.1 Sam FM

I picked it up for the first time in Myrtle Beach Monday night and I agree. Good station!!!

The station is 100% off the bird. I believe it is a Westwood One format.

I wish they would program it locally like the old 98.7 Will FM was.

You can pick it up in Myrtle Beach? What do you have an outside antenna or a really good receiver.

I wish it could boom into Rocky Mount. I can get it well with my shortwave receiver but its fighting with the talk station in burlington on the others.

So its a total satellite service? Interesting. Either way I dont care, the music variety is that good in todays day and age.

I can't pick it up every night but, with tropospheric sifting, it has been showing up on my radio recently. The ducting is a common occurence between March and October. Late last week, numerous coastal NC stations were blasting in like locals.

Additionally, I was picking up the signals using my Droid 2's FM radio app. The headset is the antenna.
