101.1 The Track

Looks like Lima has got a pirate on it's south side. Audio sounds terrible. It says it's a part 15 station, but it gets out for 5 or 6 miles around the cridersville area? They were playing 80 and 90s. Anybody else hear this station?

I've picked it up in Cridersville but fades out quickly heading north towards Ft. Shawnee in my truck.

Granted he is a bit loud...can use some audio processing which is as simple as purchasing a Behringer unit.

(clck on "Compressors and Limiters")

Otherwise, leave this guy alone. he's filling a void left by the former Wild,The Big Buck,WQTL,WYRX....and now WCIT fixin' to abandon its oldies for talk.

I kinda enjoy his little micro.(or pirate if you want to call it that.)

(If he is reading this consider this a heads-up and turn it down NOW.)

lol...contacting. I'm just kidding though. But, he really needs to lower the power. He'll find himself with $10,000 fine really soon! A true part 15 station would go no further than 1000 feet if you have a really good antenna and some height. The realistic range is 300-500 feet radius. He's getting to the south of Lima and I pick him up to the north side of wapak on 75. I've also heard advertising on this station. Imagine this station on 88.9? What would you do then?
