101.1 What's up?

Driving around today I heard a carrier on 101.1. Nothing on it, the signal was strong on South Blvd around the Beasley studios. It was still fairly strong going out Independence Blvd to Idlewild. Not sure what it was. What's the scoop??

Don't know the geography, but it might be WGNC's translator:

WGNC-AM also broadcasts its primary channel from this additional transmitter
W266DC
101.1 FM
Gastonia, NC
(220 watts)

Hey Mike Sheridan, I emailed you a month ago (hopefully I did it correctly), curious as to if you checked it yet...Miki (a very old friend)
