101.5/107.1 Launching in April?

From AllAccess (they got the calls wrong, but otherwise, good info):

---

As first tipped this morning, ALL ACCESS has learned that following the successful launch of Hurban-formatted KVIB (CLUB 95-LATINO VIBE)/PHOENIX, Dir./Operations & Programming Entertainment TIM MARANVILLE resigned today and has announced that he will join THE DENVER RADIO COMPANY to start-up two brand new FM stations covering the metro DENVER area.

TIM joins former INFINITY Market Mgr. and DENVER market veteran STEVE KEENEY for this NOGALES INVESTORS sign-on targeted for APRIL. Calls are KBRU (107.1) and KSIR (101.5) -- both are currently silent signals -- and, new format details are deep under wraps. TIM is accepting packages for all positions at [email protected]. <P ID="signature">______________

Yeah Safford I read that to on there. I am so curious on what they chose for a format? I sure hope they won't think about sticking with classic Rock, cause that just doesn't work anymore. For KSIR, just should be interesting if they do Launch in April.

Nice move by Steve Keeney, Tim is a good radio guy...the others in town will need to step their game up. He has the balls to make moves you would not expect and is not afraid to take a chance, unlike some people in town. I'm very excited to see what the formats are and how he attacks the market, it will be very interesting...good luck Steve and Tim.
