101.5 makes the same mistake twice.

Unbelievable. When the Final Four in this dream job competition was announced, one of the contestants told the station that she voted for one of her opponents over a hundred times. She even told them how she did it. Fast forward two weeks, and the voting system has the same problem.

All you have to do is click on one of two ladies names, and submit your vote. If you try to vote again, it tells you that 'you have already voted". Then, all you have to do is click on Tools on the top of the page, Click on Internet Options, and click on Delete Cookies. Then you can vote again. Repeat that a few hundred times and you can pretty much get the votes to come out the way you want them to. I'm not computer savvy enough to think this scheme up on my own, Carton even went on the air and discussed how she did it.

Now I know that all you "radio professionals" think this whole contest is rigged and that the "competition" aspect is all one big "bit", but thats not the point. If you're going to conduct a contest that is advertised as being on the up and up, and in the preliminary round someone tells you how they rigged the voting, wouldn't you FIX THE PROBLEM?? Bizarre.

Just another Santoro screw up, screw up and get promoted is his thing...This is proof again

Re: Anyway, who would you vote for?

I can't remember the last time voting wasn't screwed up in this country. LOL.

So, who would you vote for? Elyse Wolf or Dena Blizzard? I like them both but Elyse would get my vote. In fact, I stopped typing right there so I could go to the site and voted for her. I hardly think the voting matters but I figure I may as well do the democratic thing. (Ironic, when you think about it.)

I have to admit, this little contest got me listening to a station I hate. I listened for all of Roberta and I still tune in occasionally to see how the contest is going. The little ploy worked...but not for long. It's still New Jersey 101.5. As soon as the contest is over, I can't imagine why I'd ever tune in again!

OH! I'm totally lying: Sometimes when I'm driving home late at night, I will listen to Tommy G. I'm sure that won't change until they fire him for not buckling and turning into a shill for the GOP. There's something about overnight call-in talk radio that brings out the real freaks.

Let's see...listeners who think their votes matter log onto the site to either see if this actually works or to vote for the person they want 100 times...this drives traffic to the site that may not normally go...site hits go up...value of banner advertising goes up...cash flow is increased...crazy or maybe it's just a ploy!?!

You scared me. I read your headline and immediately thought they had brought back Michelle Jerson. LOL
