101.5, the 4 finalists.

(Disclaimer: The opinions expressed by JoeFromTomsRiver do not necessarily reflect those of Radio-Info.com or anyone associated with this website. Furthermore, I am not, nor have I ever been employed by a radio station. So if you choose to disagree with my points, keep in mind that the over-used "radio person with a hidden agenda" line doesn't work with me.

As a listener of NJ101.5, here is my take on the 4 finalists of the Dream Job Contest:

Elyse Wolf: sounds a bit too polished and goody goody, comes across basically as a watered down version of Mary Walter.

Andrea Erlichman: definite potential, probably too young to get the gig but my vote is for her. That station could use a shot of youth. Craig is pushing 40 and he's the youngest person they have on the air.

Shirley Ja: TRAINWRECK, I'm sure there is a certain segment that will like her schtick, but theres no chance of me listening to her if she wins this thing. Not interested in "Passion Phones-urban style". Sorry.

Dena Blizzard: caught a bit of her on with CandR, didn't get a good feel for her, will chime in w/ my opinion on her after her show tomorrow.

Mary Walter did pretty well for them. If someone reminds you of her, that would probably be a "plus" to the station.

The last time they went "young" it did not work out too well (as recent discussion here shows). That could make them reluctant to take on somebody wet behind the ears again.
