-------------------------------------------------------

TX BLFT-20171010AEZ K269GS 147268 SIGA BROADCASTING CORPORATION License to cover.
E 101.7 MHZ HOUSTON, TX

Please provide a link in the future. This little bit of information requires us to search the FCC database for complete information.

Thanks,
Frank

Why don't you vollunteer to fix it, Mr. AM stereo engineer? LOL you're always talking about your stereo exciter on your station AM 1300.

What they show is highly directional toward the west and south from the tower location, otherwise KAYD in Beaumont would object.

I was running some errands down Wayside and I10 and La Ranchera was covering all that area.

Yeah it did....Guess Siga wants to cover 1540s coverage area with FM xlators...the main FM signal is 101.5 on Galveston for 1540AM...wish they would fix the audio on the AM and make it stereo..the AM has great daytime coverage

This is moving the 101.5 translator from Galveston to Baytown.

As has been the case all along, making money on the island is not easy.

Audio issues is a different thing vs AM stereo..if the mono audio sucks, AM stereo doesn't help..it sux in stereo then...and AM stereo takes an external exciter they would have to buy.

Seems like a bizarre location and a bizarre signal pattern. When you magnify the K269GS primary signal area, it's 50% water, nice for the huge boating audience. Signal takes in some of Channelview, Deer Park, and Pasadena, a strange market focus. Plus, there's a CP for 80 watt KSHX-LP centered just north of I-610 and Clinton to cover East Houston and Galena Park. If the K269GS signal couldn't cut it in Galveston, this hardly seems like an improvement ---> https://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/patg?id=K269GS-FX

Wanna wager on it not staying there. This one is being walked somewhere else. Probably wont even get built out. Just license it then apply for the next modification...
