101.9 FM New livestream

You might want to try Global Tuners...there are two NYC Receivers there where you share to tune all the AM-FM stations...you need to sign up for a free account before you can tune. the NYC receivers are not 24/7, they are online part time.

Yes I know but part time is not working for me. Most of the time this tuner is offline. I was hoping for someone with the possibility to stream it on ustream or via shoutcast.com for the time being until there is an official stream.

Do you really think Merlin is going to put a dime into streaming what used to be WRXP? What made WRXP good went beyond the music. It was the idea that you had jocks who were passionate about the music and wanted to talk about it. Do we really need another Internet Radio Jukebox? The jocks will have to move on. Damn hard to make a living with Internet radio. Not ubiquitous. At least not yet..if ever. Sure technology may get to distribution that one day approaches parity with current FM signal distribution but listeners will be expected to pay for it. Like cable, satellite tv, Sirius/XM and so on. Does anyone really want yet another monthly bill?

We talking about streaming of the new 101.9 FM New station, not the stream from WRXP.

I'm sure they'll be streaming the current 101.9. The question is, which server (StreamTheWorld?) are they going to use...

I wonder which direct URL, but it's difficult to find it because the official call letters in the streamtheworld URL are not in use. Or they gonna use a new streamprovider.
