It looks as if it will indeed be FM News 101.9 just like FM News 101.1, but is this still all stunting or not? http://www.fmnewschicago.com is partially up as I write this post which doesn't seem professional at all (their are menus and sub menus which refer to html navigation, etc). Also as I write this post http://www.fmnewsnewyork.com is under construction.

Nope, no 'stunting' or whatever you call it, it's the real deal in Chicago, they just launched. No stream yet.

NXEA said:You've made an excellent point erwin33 with reference to the lack of an online-stream. And secondly, the radio station format flips aren't for the benefits of us radio geeks, so if they are doing it with press releases to All Access and Chic radio/media all it does is let us know; the people they should be caring about and targeting are the average everyday non-radio people and citizens of NYC and Chicago who don't read all-access.
You can bet in Chicago that WBBM will sound spot-on when it debuts on 105.9 Monday.
I don't think I've ever witnessed a weaker debut of a format from an operation stacked with such veteran/professional employees.
