101.9 RXP Terrible soundquality on livestream

What's that, that stations can't sound good on livestreams. The 101.9 RXP livestream sounds sometimes loud en overmodulated and sometimes to soft. Nothing heard about streaming soundprocessing? It sounds terrible at the moment!

djfrresh doesn't care. He still wants sister station Hot 97 to stream.

These days, (that's TODAY radio management!) there is ZERO excuse to not have a good fidelity (read not undermodulated or overmodulated and distorted)decent fast STEREO stream if you have a music format!!! AND if you want to go one step further, have a link or a running display of what you are currently playing. Also it's even nicer to have a list of all the songs you've played in the last ohhh say 6 - 24 hours! Even a non-profit stream like Radio Paradise.com has a look back feature of the last WEEK of songs they played. WRXP does not (yet) have a link to "contact" them so people who DO care can voice their complaint!! I wonder if any WRXP personnel look at these pages. While their music is a hybrid of classic rock/AAA/hard rock so they don't directly compete with WXPK 107.1 The Peak, WRXP should look to 107.1 The Peak to see how it's done!! Everything I mentioned above WXPK has in place!! No excuse, WRXP in The BIG Apple!!

WXPK The Peak KICKS! Let's see that format on a full market signal! Won't happen, of course: too white, too much opportunity to make real money. New York radio basically sucks. Way too concerned with attracting the 'urban' audience (why, I'll never know...they aren't buying much...thievery isn't a big advertising demo). Radio: here's your last chance to revive yourself. Aim for the audience with some bucks to spend, 25-54 males. We buy stuff. Someday, you'll figure it out. Probably not before you go Chapter 13, though!

I thought this is a topic about the sound quality from the RXP livestream. Your other comments about the station in other topics please.
