As of Sunday morning (Pride Day In Seattle) at 1am, my pirate station 'The Whore' became 'Spunk FM'. The new website is also up at www.spunkfm.com
We are streaming live using 'Streamer', a great p2p streaming solution that you should check out if you are looking for a very easy and free way to broadcast online. You can download the 'Streamer' player on SpunkFM.com or from the 'Streamer' website at www.streamerp2p.com. If you download from the 'Streamer' site, be sure you download the Beta 2.05 version of the full player and broadcaster (there is a player only version, haven't tried it). But the full version Beta 2.05 player/broadcaster works FREAKING GREAT! It is also easy to customize the 'player screen', the 'player's station list icon for your station', and the 'Streamer website's station list/yellow pages icon' for your station (which can even be an animated gif). Download 'Streamer' and check out how I customized the graphics of Streamer to match the graphics/images/branding of SpunkFM.com.
The next day or two will be spent tweaking the format of Spunk FM very slightly, but it will always be pretty much the same station as 'The Whore' was... just more 'marketable'.
