When Emmis programmed Hot 97 has a dance/chr it was always in the top 5 of the ratings book. They played the CHR/Dance songs first that later Z100 and PLJ and some other stations would later add on. Who is listening to Smooth Jazz as its being programmed now in NY? What offices are having it played? Whos blasting it in their cars or on the beach?

CD101.9 has done well to maintain the cume they have considering the way they dissed their core audience 2-1/2 years ago. Even without any real outside promotion, they managed to regain the loyalty of their audience at a time when things could have very well cratered for them.
