What station is on 101.9? Getting it pretty clear in Northern Durham. Playing Whitney Houston- I'm every woman at 4:56
 
Out here in Johnston County, I used to get a CHR (I believe it was CHR) on 101.9. Never listened long enough to get call letters or some form of imaging, so I have no clue what or where the station is.
 
I think its 101.9 Woody Country programmed and owend by Woodrow "WoodY" W. Parrish III. It's not surprising at all that you didn't hear any imaging during your monitoring session. They don't have any really, it's all praise singers and little kids and you cant hardly hear them some of the time because the hot new country songs are really louder than they were back in the day~!!!!!1 :) ;) :D ;D :mad: :( :eek: 8) ??? ::) :p :-[ :-X :-\ :-* :'(
 
I've never got it before. It was Rewind. I was trying to listen to 102 Jamz and it was bleeding througIh. 102 Jamz comes in very clear north of Durham.

ducting was up yesterday for some odd reason, a buddy of mine texted me and said he was hearing WQMG in roanoke rapids in stereo and decoding RDS
 
I heard The Wolf and WVTF crystal clear in Cumberland County for a while. Sometimes they're way in the background, but they're only rarely crystal clear.
 
WQMG is in Greensboro (I think). FM's in Roanoke Rapids are: 90.1 WZRU (Garysburg), 91.1 Victory FM, 95.9 WEZU-LPFM, 97.9 WTRG, 99.5 WYTT (actually, Emporia, VA), and 102.3 WPTM. Was the station you were hearing one of these, or were you hearing QMG? I do get QMG in Roanoke Rapids from time to time.
 
I actually heard Spanish from MEXICO on 88.1 several days ago.
 
it was definatly WQMG and yes they are in greensboro.. ..Quality Music for Greensboro was what their callsign stands for, 102 jamz usually pops up in roanoke rapids a lot too
 
I think that night, I was getting 106.9 The Fox (Norfolk/VA Beach) I actually do get this from time to time anyway The Fox has a MONSTER signal, and also Modern Rock 98.7 in Wilmington (seeing as Simon is on 98.7 and get it crystal clear in Durham County this was very surprising). Usually the farthest I've DXed is Norfolk. Ive gotten FM 99 (also on 98.7) Z104 and 95.7 R&B from Norfolk, VA at my house in Durham. (Thats 200 miles away).
