A surprising catch last night. From the Georgetown, TX, area north of Austin, in central Texas, caught 2 stations I hadn't heard before.
Either the signal faded by top of hour or was unable to hear an ID when tried listening.
Each was carrying Kansas State University Sports Network's coverage of the KSU- Louisiana Bowl game in Houston.
The football game on 1010 was weaker compared to the dominant nearby KBBW, in Waco, a religious broadcaster. Turning the radio brought in the game.
1210 sounds like KGYN in Guymon, OK. It's a long ways away, but its 10k nighttime signal's contour includes my area.
Can't figure which stations they were. Neither team's sports network page lists affiliates on 1010 or 1210.
Contour maps follow.
