I actually noticed that too Friday night, but didn't want to say anything. Out in the East Valley, KXXT usually has a very weak signal and is barely listenable here in Gilbert. Playing around on the dial, I'm able to DX on 1000 for KOMO News radio from Seattle or the Mexico City station on 1000, but that was impossible Friday night thanks to KXXT blasting with their 15,000 watts of pow-pow-power spilling over onto adjacent channels. The problem appeared to be gone on Saturday as KXXT seemed to be back to normal night-time power of 250 watts.
We'll keep an eye on KXXT and add them to the Doc's KFNN list of FCC rule breakers! ;D
