A (popular) morning show is an asset to a station... There are no Big Shoe Stu promos in any other shifts, but Pratt promos around the clock. They do that to pimp the brand that the morning show creates. Regardless of ownership, it makes no sense to have Pratt popping up throughout the day on 101.5 when all it does is turn people away from KZON's own morning show.
Somehow I don't think anyone at CBS Radio is going to go for the idea of simulcasting the same morning show on two full power FM's in the same market. You would dilute the ratings by splitting your audience between stations, and I doubt Earnhardt/Shaneco/Gila River Casino are going to want to pay for two spots at the same time on the same show. You'll get the revenue of one show divided between two stations.
Lower revenue, lower ratings, and creating confusion in the mind of the listener. In what way is that supposed to be good for the stations? Even Sandusky wouldn't do that
