They've always plays the Chili Peppers, because they're an alternative-rock band. What's your point?

Hey, somebodys gotta pay for fleas degree in music...

I agree, KDGE has lost its way when it comes to its "90's greatest hits" format. I quit listening to them awhile ago because of this stupidity while pretty much focusing on 101x and other alt/college stations outside this market.

Let's break it down

KDGE played 18 RHCP titles over the last 12 weeks
The most played song: CAN'T STOP which was the 63rd most played song overall
It was played 74 times in 12 weeks - about 6x per week (less than 1x/day)
Only 4 of RHCP's songs make it into the Edge's Top 100 most played titles

By comparison, the # of titles played by the station for these artists in the last 12 weeks

U2 - 19
Nirvana - 18
Pearl Jam - 18
Smashing Pumpkins - 17
Linkin Park - 16
Green Day - 15
Cure - 15
Stone Temple Pilots - 15
