Yes, 102.1 has been stunting for a few days now. I caught it Sunday night, IIRC. The signal is another tough one that makes it hard to get any traction with any format. We could sure use another sports station, but my guess is 80's, 90's and some today-style AC (maybe lighter than the new Mix) with no local connection. I could see it being a second signal for their non-Light Christian station. I also could see the sense of a regional Spanish format, but that would require a specialized sales team.
By the way, today, I put my car into the shop for an oil change and routine maintenance and did the usual channel surfing. I would like to congratulate the FCC for now basically making the FM dial sound as bad as AM did when people used to listen to it. With the leaves on the trees and all the hills blocking the signals, all it sounds like is nothing but static on Channels A-Z.
FWIW, 98.3 has a decent city grade signal that seems to be blasting this week. I guess it is in honor of Gerry House's return. Too bad the most listened to radio station this week is geared toward all those damn old people that don't buy anything.
