102.3 off again

ok...so why not DO something with it?

is it still stuck in the defunct Nassau-Goldman Sachs-Andrew Summereau-Jeff Shapiro Hell that 99.1 and 101.5 seem to be?

Shapiro owns it,right?

A consummation notice was filed on 6/24:

https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/w...ext=25&appn=101433051&formid=905&fac_num=8683

that references FCC 315 BTCH-20090309ACH:

https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/w...ext=25&appn=101318409&formid=315&fac_num=8683

that requests transfer to BIRCH BROADCASTING, INC., the principal of which is ANDREW T. SUMEREAU, 3140 WILLIAMSBURG COURT, STATE COLLEGE, PA 16801,

who coincidentally previously was a General Manager for Nassau Broadcasting, from April 1988 – December 2004 (16 years 9 months):

Maybe..hire some locals? put a real radio station on the air?

There are a few more than there were before. Now with Nassau up for grabs, pwerhaps more Andrew Sumereaus will come forward and buy those stations up,too.

(Toto I don't think we're in Kansas anymore...)

We don't know the facts so no way to know for sure. He'll need a studio location and STL, right? Maybe that's why.

My money says it will be resold and packaged with one or more of the Nassau stations which will have to be split up.

Could be. It's all Real LIfe Radio MONOPOLY. Lawyers and accountants. Deals, no deals.

Long line of out of work radio people looking for a break, shouldn't be a problem staffing the place if he does go for it.

Birch broadcasting has no relation to Berkshire broadcasting right?
