I really don't think that CC is going to sell 102.3 (as long as they remain CC and not taken over after bankruptcy or something like that). 102.3 is one of the strongest signals in town and they couldn't get anything near what its really worth. They haven't been able to sell 105.9 and its not near as good. The move to hip-hop on 105.9 was initially just to help boost KHFI by dividing the hip hop audience. Then, go figure, 93.3 changes and 105.9 is the only hip-hop game in town. 102.3 has already been slowly changing into more of a soft AC format while still holding onto the "Family Friendly" moniker. I have a feeling they will hold with that for a while and won't change it anytime soon even if the ratings and money are low. I think they see it kind of like part of their public service requirement.
