102.3 The River

As I was driving around today hitting my seek button it landed on The River and Stephanie Mills' "Never knew love like this before" was playing and I thought to myself "Alright! They flipped to a disco format." I was then saddened when a very typical, boring christian rock song followed.... Any thoughts? Has anyone ever heard a disco song played on a 'positive' format before? I thought it was odd.

The last time that I scanned by the River (and looked at their music logs), I noticed that they're starting to lean more towards traditional Adult Contemporary with a few CCM songs sprinkled into the mix, rather than the other way around. ...not that I listen to the River.

Hell, Fred, the FCC won't even shut down our friendly neighborhood pirate on 90.1 and you're expecting them to enforce an ID? ;D

Wow yeah I was just on yes.com's listing of their playlist and it looks like they've gone 100% Xmas, but as i looked at last week's playlist I had no idea it was as mainstream as it was...
