102.3 The Rose

This afternoon I came across 102.3 The Rose and they were playing Another One Bites The Dust by Queen. WHAT??? I thought their format was soft rock.
What is soft rock anymore? BTW The next song was Escape by Rupert Holmes. I guess that is soft rock!
I've also noticed more and more "Soft Rock" songs on WAKY. I guess that WAKY thinks that The Rose is serious competition.
 
Kinda like when mix 102.3 came on the air in 91 and were really soft rock which is what we call ya yacht rock today but mix became harder and harder as the years went on.
 
I saw where they (The Rose) were tied with WVEZ in the September trends. I think they both had a 2.3 share. My wife has them as a 4th option on her car presets. I think :)
