102.3 The Wolf

You would think InsideRadio.com could get the frequencies correct when reporting this story. They start off by saying The Wolf is at 106.9, then as the story progresses, they change it to the correct 106.3 - I've seen a lot of Radio-related stories lately by different sources that could be edited! Their moniker is "Southern New England's Only Classic Rock". I remember when WCCC/Hartford was "Southern New England's 1st Choice For Rock". What about the other facilities in Southern New England that program Classic Rock such as WNLC, WPLR & WRKI? It's "Classic Rock 98.7/WNLC" - 'PLR's moniker is "Anything That Rocks" & I-95 is the "Home of Rock & Roll" but, they still program Classic Rock, so that doesn't mean that 102.3/106.3 The Wolf is "Southern New England's Only Classic Rock". Well, you've got to call your station something, and, if you tell your listeners something long enough, they'll probably believe it!
