102.5 now part of platino

Well as I got closer home, 45 and Rankin noticed there’s 2 different formats. One was cumbias on on of the 102.5 and the other was was playing regional Mexican on the other 102.5

I just checked 102.5 and KJFI is still off the air; has been missing since at least December 15 allowing me to get a poor signal from KMAZ at my Cy-Fair location. You might be hearing K273AL fighting with something else (KJHJ?).

I sometimes wonder if K273AL is running both towers they have at 99 and 250 watts maybe running different things. KJHJ shouldn't reach that far south.
 
I just checked KMAZ's stream, the currently playing track is "Courtnie Ramirez - LIFE IS GOOD (feat. Apollo LTD) [Official Lyric Video]".

Someone is ripping music from YouTube and playing it on air, LOL.

102.5 KJHJ is back on the air still as numero uno. KCVE is still off the air.

KJHJ was off the air for 7 months straight one time. That and KCVE go off a lot. I haven’t seen any silent STAs for those.

KMAZ was broadcasting for like 3 year just fine before any of the other 102.5 came of the air they use to have like 16 mile range with a car radio not any more.

There are also 3 99.7 in the Houston area to

Who is allowing all this mess 20 to 25 year ago all these stations on the same frequency in within 8 to 12 miles of each other would have never been allowed.

Latino Broadcasting is only running La Calle 880 AM,

Centro has separated LA NUEVA from LBC, now La Nueva is on their own app and company name.

La Nueva Network.


KJOZ am is listed as being owned by HECTOR GUEVARRA MINISTRY CORP.
