Yep, I actually know their broadcast engineer and he is serious about quality when it comes to the signals he contracts/works for.107.1 already is simulcasting La Mega as well, and gospel has moved over to 106.3. Nobody wasted any time with these moves.
While I’m not thrilled another station falls to religious programming, at least it’s not ultra conservative political talk cloaked in religion. It for the most part is 24/7 light rock with praise lyrics. How exciting, our billionth Christian music station
I don't understand Spanish but having listened to both formats while they existed La Grande and La Mega 'felt' like totally two different formats to me both in DJ presentation and music.I've seen a few comments about la mega and they all seem to be pretty negative.
I will give EMF credit - they are a Christian formatted station without politics or even getting overly preachy - they clearly want to target both church and non-church people as listeners. They will be competition to "The River" in the market for sure. While I’m not thrilled another station falls to religious programming, at least it’s not ultra conservative political talk cloaked in religion.
