Throwbacks primarily from the 90s-2000s will be featured from when AT40 ends at Noon PT until the iHeart Radio Countdown Show starts at 8 PM PT. I would think they'll be interspersed with the currents + recurrents, not wall-to-wall. Otherwise folks would think there'd been a format change.

I heard an on-air promo for this on Friday evening 7/10.
Of course, no mention on their website + social media.
I mean, why get the word out on platforms designed to promote the radio station? (Sarcasm noted.)
 
KIIS has done this before. They pick about 5 songs from a particular year and they play about one per half hour. The same songs repeat over and over throughout the day.
