102.7 KSRX is now JACK-FM

This was announced in the K-Rock still rockin' thread below, but I figured it was worth a thread of its own.

Jack appears to be announcerless thus far, with the voice talent who formerly voiced BOB-FM.

At the time of the flip, it was announced that the station has "2 rules:"

1. "We play what we want."
2. "Don't tell us what to play."

So far, it seems to be all 80s.

Interesting news. The Jack type formats focuses on 80s while still mixing in music from the 70s, 90s, and early 2000s.

If I may correct you on one point: the voice of JACK did once slum with BOB but then thought better of it. :)

Since I'm not at the airport, I guess I can say "Hi Jack!"

I like "the voice." I'm glad he's here in San Antonio now.

Got any other insight related to your namesake for us? :)
