102.7 WGOR

WGOR is now WGUS-FM, Big Gus southern gospel. No more true oldies in Augusta. Of course, classic hits WDRR and classic rock WEKL are in essence oldies stations to many.
 
It's been over a year since 102.7 went to Southern Gospel....has it been considered a success, failure, maybe OK? I find it hard to believe that a format like Southern Gospel could out-perform Oldies in ratings or revenue. I guess they wanted Oldies out of the way to help the Drive perform better.

They should have just left Oldies 93.9 and evolved it instead of messing around with the Country....I don't think much anything will ever succeed on the 102.7 signal as it doesn't cover parts of the market very well.

I'm guessing 92.7 is still playing their oldies, classic hits, whatever? Always found that little station interesting.
