I have been hearing a lot of smooth jazz lately-and it's actually in ENGLISH. Davidson Media may finally be starting to get a clue (it took them long enough!)that their are very few Portuguese listeners in South County, but there may be a good amount of smooth jazz fans, especially in Newport. I would love to see a smooth jazz station in RI. 99.3 Swing FM plays some but is mostly mainstream jazz and blues so we could use a station that plays just smooth jazz. <P ID="signature">______________

Curly: Or a phoney at the mike!

Moe: Quiet numbskulls I'm broadcastin'!

A smooth Jazz on 99.7 would be a nice fit. Grab it off the bird with a morning guy locally.

Nothing Davidson does suprises me anymore, especially after they blew up their Spanish Station in Hartford - Power 990 in October 2005 and flipped it back to English Language News-Talk including bringing back the GM they had prior to the sale to Davidson and flip to Spanish in May 2004.
