Hardly Robert. KITY and KIJZ-LP aren't anywhere close enough to each other to cause problems. A 4 watt LPFM in Hutto interfering with a 2kW station that doesn't come close to covering any small portion of Williamson County? You're having us on, aren't you?

Before 80-90 and The Telcom Act of 1996, there were plenty of stations I could get several states away no problem, but just because I could then doesn't mean that a new signal or a move-in is interfering, preventing my reception of a previously received signal. Doesn't work that way. Unless they are short-spaced according to the rules, it is perfectly fine. This has been explained already several times.

Well How Do You Explain The Close Proximity Of 102.7 And The 103.1 Translators Seeing As They All Run Into Each Other Not Much On Spatial Separation In This Day In Age

K247AX and K276EL meet the separation requirements.

Those separation rules were created when FM technology was very different... more than a half-centrury ago. Today, in many countries full power stations are allowed in the same market ever second channel.

So full power stations are on 88.1 and 88.3 in, say, London?

As for 102.9 LPFM I didn't hear it on last time I was in Austin - that was a couple months ago.
