102.9/The Lake A To Z New Years' Weekend

Starting New Years' Eve, 102.9/The Lake will be programming their A to Z New Years' Weekend, through Jan. 4th. They'll be playing all the songs in their library, in alphabetical order, by song title.

What is K104.7 promoting to compete with that programming?

Wow you have a serious grudge against K or CBS or Beasley...whatever! :)

What the Lake is doing sounds more like somebody just said they didn't have time to do a new music rotation! Couple of mouse clicks and it's done, station on auto pilot.

Face it most people really don't care what's on the radio anymore. There are lots of other ways to be entertained/distracted. I doubt anyone will be sitting on the edge of their seat waiting to hear what the next song is. Soon most radio will be like K-Love, satellite fed from a central location. The big groups will love that. It happens in a lot of dayparts already.

Oh and Happy New Year!

Mike,

Happy 2015 to you, too!

But, I'll have to agree to disagree.

I don't know why you continue to defend a station that has historically had the reputation of not having their programming together, no matter who the owner or the PD is.

The one song I actually heard was "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes. Are the songs in alphabetical order by title or artist? Because the weekend was pretty close to being over.
