I guess 102.9 from Crab Orchard is testing right now with Christmas music. No more WDHT for me as this station is melting my antenna.

More local service is always worth a melted antenna. What would you like to hear on this station and I will put in a word for you? ;)

FREE BIRD!

Format is a BIG question as this area is saturated with country, gospel and talk. Maybe a good rock station would be nice, but I'd better keep dreamin".

Music is available everywhere: iPods, Satellite Radio, Computers, etc. Local radio must be.....LOCAL. To me, that means information that is not available anywhere else. Music has become secondary for local radio.

Local Radio stations cannot make it without first providing information to the local community that the listeners cannot get as timely somewhere else.

WPBK-FM will not be a Rock station, it will not be a Country Station or a Talk Station or a Gospel Station, but there will be some of all of that from time to time. It can't be all things for all people but it can be something for most of the people.

Want to host your own show? Bulk air time is available at reasonable rates. Check out the website www.wpbkfm.com.

Let us know if you really need to hear WDHT and maybe we will schedule our RF maintenance around your listening time.

There are other outlets other than WDHT for my listening pleasure. I gather you think I care about the loss of WDHT. I do have a life outside of radio, however, I love to DX when I can and WDHT was an easy catch with it's awesome signal. They do get the short end of the stick being next to WEBN, also whom I USED to listen to until WYSB took care of that for me as well.
