103.1 and the Drive In

The other night, I was listening to 103.1, and enjoying the great music, when 2 bad things happened, one, a Neil Diamond song, 2, interference. Sounded like some guy giving instructions.

Well, as I neared the Drive In at Hayden and McKellips it all came clear. I was hearing the manager of the Drive In telling his patrons about the service, and how they are upgrading, etc and to enjoy the show.

Since they have 6 screens, does anyone know the other frequencies?

It was surreal, but it beat hearing Neil Diamond.

Nothing like driving down the 202 and a R rated movie playing drops the "F" bomb  with your kids in the car.
I think they're just a little over part 15 limits.

Nothing like packing up the kids and gran'ma in the family AMC Hornet on a balmy August night for a cheapie movie at the Scottsdale Drive In! You can also buy a pack of cancer sticks from the local Native American tobacco hut next door for under ten bucks! The low power FM xmttr probably has more listeners than Movin' 97~Five :p

While driving past the drive in this evening, I heard the end of the movie "Taken", following by the announcer talking about popcorn, making sure to start your car every 5-10 minutes (to make sure the battery isn't dead) , on 105.1. I remember hearing the audio on 105.1 several years back as well.

Hey Legend City -- what wrong with Neil Diamond? Would you turn down free concert tickets to his show? Can I send you some of his CD's?

I had a jerk roomate who played his music nonstop, it was a harrowing experience.
