The 103.1 in Stamford last I knew relays WQXR. The reason is that 96.7FM creates problems for 96.3FM.

hell 96.7 creates more problems than just that frequency. but 96.7 has been there forever so I don't think anything would change

Does 103.1 in Stamford still relay WQXR? When I took an Amtrak train from Berlin, Connecticut to Philly, PA back in 2003 we went through Stamford and I was listening to Car Talk on 103.1 FM and they ID'd as WNYC-FM.<P ID="signature">______________

WQXR got rid of the 103.1 translator a couple of years ago because they were not satisfied wit the coverage in downtown Stamford.
Right now, 103.1 is translating WSHU the NPR station in Fairfield at Sacred Hart University.
