KZOS-LP has applied with the FCC to transfer from the city of San Marcos itself to a community radio group which runs an online station. The group is called San Marcos Texas Community Radio Association and it runs KZSM, which probably will be the new call letters of 103.1. Here's KZSM's website and stream. KZSM | Radio San Marcos, TX
Right now I'm hearing a talk show.

KZOS-LP's current variety music format also streams here. https://ice42.securenetsystems.net/KZOSLP
Here's KZOS-LP with FCCData. https://fccdata.org/?facid=&call=kz...=&lmspl=&party_type=LICEN&latd=&lond=&lang=en
I used to listen to this sometimes when traveling between San Antonio and Austin. It was on 92.5 for the 1st several years it broadcasted before moving to 103.1.

The call letters are now KZSM-LP.

The ownershipt change went through but the new owners shut it down immediately. There are too many problems for it to continue right now... These problems sound serious.

Quote from recent STA:
"REASONS FOR THIS REQUEST:
[1] SMTCRA has lost their licensed transmitter and antenna site.
KZSM – LP is actively seeking a new location to re-locate the station.
[2] KZSM – LP licensed frequency of operation, channel 276 (103.1), KZSM – LP is located less than the
minimum spacing distance for second adjacent channel KBPA and K276GR."
...
"Licensee has the responsibility to resolve potential interference caused by the short spacing.
[3] The licensee of KZSM – LP will seek to change the frequency of operation."

Interestingly enough, someone is currently keeping the KZOS-LP stream alive. Maybe the city never shut down the old streaming.
