Did Clear Channel make a mistake flipping 103.5 THE BEAT from Urban to Urban AC? I just don't see 2 Urban AC stations survivng the Miami market. Im pretty sure 103.5 is at the bottom of the ratings compared to HOT 105 in all dayparts.
Since WTPS-AM was sold, the best bet would be for 103.5 THE BEAT to snatch syndicated Michael Baisden Show for afternoon drive. He's one of the top syndicated Urban AC shows besides Tom Joyner and Steve Harvey. Also, the syndicated "Sweat Hotel" hosted by R&B signer Keith Sweat heard nightly on 103.5 is a total mess. I haven't heard any good reviews since Clear Channel started syndicating this show.
Is 103.5 THE BEAT in a FORMAT FLIP ZONE?
