Yeah, they did that already. They suck and really think they can compete with KSFM and KDND, which they are already Top-40 and KBMB is doing the same thing? I guess they want lower ratings.Jay F said:According to the Sac board this station is switching to CHR/Pop.

Maybe they won't have lower ratings. But they won't go back to the high ratings that they once had. They were successful when they main;y played hip-hop and R&B until 2007. Then they jumped on the bandwagon and tried to be like the other pop stations and that didn't work out too well. It's not the pop music that has driven their ratings down. If you have the time, go to the Sacramento board and read the blogs about the demise of 103.5. You will find out more why the station really went downhill. Finally, 98 Rock is the best station in Sacramento. Although I don't listen to them much, they play good music and serve the people the right way.Jay F said:btone1035 said:Yeah, they did that already. It will be hard for the ratings to get much lower than they are now. The BOMB had the typical diary to PPM drop off that so many rhythmic stations have experienced. So while the OP isn't a fan of HOT you have to give them credit for being a rhythmic that is thriving with PPM.
Speaking of Sacramento radio. The #1 station there is rock station KRXQ, It is programmed by Las Vegas native JIm Fox who worked at several LV stations in the 1980s.
