103.7 Baton Rouge

While at work I turned my radio dial and it landed on 103.7. Very strong signal. Appears to be religious. But dont know what religion. Appeared to be Jewish? Anyone know?

Smashedcd, welcome to the Great Translator Invasion. I'm going to guess that your work is near Airline and I-12? Looks like K279AL is blasting a big 19 watts from the cellular tower across Airline from Don Carter Bowling Lanes.

The operator (until it's sold to a local AM... ahem) is CSN International. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CSN_International

How was the sound quality? I've heard some weird translator stuff while I have been working up in Mississippi. For that matter, how are the rest of the BR FMs sounding to you cats? Again, I've heard some weird stuff lately...

Don't know about BR, but Got a station that sounds like it's getting it's late night program my guess over the internet as the sound drops out about 3-4 times per song... Have heard of people trying to stream programming (commercially as in mainly translators) off of home internet connections
