When and why did KOSF move off Sutro Tower? Tried searching the forum and didn't find a mention of it.

I'll take a guess: KOSF's power on sutro was too low to reach the South Bay well. The other station on Sutro with similar wattage (KFOG) has a repeater station on 97.7 near San Jose.
