I highly doubt Nast would leave KBPI where he actually has numbers for KIOL that doesn't have anything to speak of. Although, logic sometimes doesn't play into decisions made in radio either.

That would be nice if they lured uncle nasty away from KBPI, but the only way that happens is is they swap frequencies with KRBE when Cumulus gains control of them.

From the posts I've read, Fo-Fo-Fo-Hye and I think alike and share all of the same views. WE WOULD BE PERFECT TOGETHER. What a great idea.

Well... the Uncle Nasty thing may not be that far fetched since he was VT'd in from Denver when he was on KLOL anyway.

Why pull Uncle Nasty?
Cumulus and Fant won't make this move. From the start, the aura of this station has been "local with no voice tracking," at least not from Denver.
If you go to any remotes and talk to engineers or people working at the station, they'll scoff at anything resembling VT'ing or shipping in talent.
I have to respect their approach. They really haven't been kidding with these DJ auditions around town. Some of the contestants were actually being considered for a slot on the station.
Pam Kelly or Lisa Kendall are aching for a better slot than just a few hours on the weekends. Unless Fletch is the suprise new DJ, I see one of them getting the promotion. If not that, then expect an unknown who will be flaunted all over the station.
