103.7 The Bone????

Ever since the buyout, the music on the bone is well all over the places to say the least. I am not shocked that Sheri is out but Bryan and Jim have been absent; do not tell me they have been fired as they are a staple in this town; I also need to point out while out for a slice of pizza the other day I had the penguin on and to my shock no midday jock, what is going on at Hometown Wilmington Media? one last thing everyone demanded that HQR play more classical and they did not do it now look at 95.9 and not long after the buyout I heard a car show on the big talker. My first thought is 103.7 is getting ready to clobber 94.5 any thoughts?

Of the rock stations I've been exposed to in eastern NC (here in my Myrtle Beach abode), my faves are The Bone, WSFL & Rock-103.

It is a good rock station and the new owners probably wanted to add variety. The morning guys haven't gone anywhere, I haven't noticed that they've been "absent" but the show has changed since the buyout. And Sherry is still there she replaced Jackson during drive time. It would've been a bad move on the company's part to get rid of her, she has a huge following and seems to promote the station a lot. It'll be interesting to see how the Hawk stacks up but that station has been struggling for a long time.

Hawk doesnt have a very good signal

It's tough to hear "The Hawk" in Myrtle Beach because of "Movin' 94.5". Sometimes, during springtime tropospheric ducting conditions, I can null out the Movin' signal to hear The Hawk. Sounded fine when I've heard it.
