103.9 KDJK signal not as powerful as before. Anyone noticed?

I noticed KDJK 103.9 signal does not reach as far south as it used to. (About a year ago). In fact, it was Mother's Day 2007 when I noticed the change. I heard that the transmitter fell down and since then, it's never been the same as before in terms of output.

Hey DB, I replied a lengthly post to your topic on the Sac board, but to sum it up, I think your question on the Sacramento board it was O.K. to post there regardless of what another poster said, because KDJK serves as a translator rebroadcasting KHKK in Modesto. Technically Modesto posts do belong on the Sac board. Although the station is licensed to Mariposa it is also appropriate to post on this board too.

yes, driving on friant road it came in perfect from highway41/blackstone to auberry,i always thought the reason was power upgrades ,or new equipement by ajactent stations 103.7 or 104.1 was why its signal was gone

For sure used to come in crystal clear on Friant Road. Now it's gone completely. I'm glad you noticed!!! Because no one at the station I contacted knows or even cares about it the situation for that matter.
They believe everything is working properly......WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have a good name brand car stereo (like mine), it does come in crystal clear and will not get interference from the adjacent stations like 103.7 and 104.1 cutting in. My car stereo locks it in perfectly on 103.9 and doesn't drift. I know for certain it's the transmitter!!!!! NOT my stereo!!!!!!
