Anybody know what is going on?

Could have been a bad board-op if it was ballgame-related. Fell asleep/locked out/extended cigarette break/whatever.

b98.5 don't carry sports couldn't be that. I dont know

Probably EAS related. WSB-FM is the EAS primary, so maybe the EAS encoder at 103.9 didn't detect the EOM codes and continued to relay 98.5.

I remember this happening at WREK when 98.5's air staff faded out the EOM tones.

The truly dynamic Phantom Automation System decided it loves B98.5FM as much as myself, along with all those who voted for it as Atlanta's #1 Station For Listening At Work and did not want to run Jerry Doyle. I guess Ol' Sparky just doesn't care for Sci-Fi Actors. That and the network switch in Hawkinsville was not working...Got it back to normal after a little Prayer Meeting and a good swift kick. Timex has nothing on this system...it's one of the very first made and still runs a multi source format more reliably than any other system I worked with. Just have to watch for those pesky Carbon Based Errors.

WSB-FM is used as filler on the Bulldog Network channel. If you ever hear B98.5 on WRPG or any other affiliate, it is usually the local automation didn't unlock or never read the tone. Unless other affiliates had a problem, it was local, carbon based and easily fixed.

Guess it serves me right for sitting at the WSB table during the Gabby's. Maybe that's why Boortz looked at me so funny.
