103.9 WSHP aux site one year later

WSHP experienced significant (not sure what the damage was) during Helene last year. Over a year later, 103.9 WSHP is still using their backup /aux transmitter site. Does anyone know the extent of the damage to the TX site in Easley and what the delay has been to getting it back on full power?

Referring to the county. The tower does not meet the 1 to 1 rule. For every foot high you need to own a foot out. 360' tower needs a 360' circle. It's moving to a tower over near Easley high school next year.

Yikes. I know the “current” main site is behind the Rolling Acres shopping center off 123. It was pretty run down a decade or so ago but it seemed the HIS folks spruced it up a bit and painted the shack.

We put a TON on money in that site. New antenna for the power upgrade to 25kw, painted the tower, cleaned up the field, added additional AC, repainted and reroofed the building, New Nautel transmitter. Had plans to install a generator and upgrade the tower lights to LED.
Now we are left with a nice but worthless building and Nautel transmitter.
