Appears likely to flip 11/21/05 a.m. according to some break-ins this morning "tune in for a new Y-1039 tommorrow"...my guess is they'll go 60s-70s full-time.

And you are correct.

Look at the logo on the top.

Well I guess I'm gonna have to head out to the driveway (the only place I can hear WWYW without local WXSS wiping it out) and take a listen.
______________

Aircheck, anyone?

Perhaps before, flip, and after?

If I could I would but I live to far into Wisconsin to get a signal. I will for sure aircheck it next time I'm in Round Lake (I often roll tape on WWYW when I'm out that way) or if WXSS-103.7 switches to backup for maintenence or if there is some DX. I could try recording from the car radio (Comes in great on the car radio while parked in the driveway) using a handheld tape recorder. Sound quality won't be the best though.
______________

RDS program-type has been changed to "Oldies."

I was wondering when/if they were going to expand to fulltime oldies. With WZZN popping up I figured they were going to get rid of it all together. Guess I was wrong.

I'll definately see about recording/posting an aircheck. I'm going to be in Woodstock this Thursday visiting my dad. The 103.9 signal is good there.
______________

Java Joel should program/anchor the newborn station.
