1037freefm.com actually did something Sun. night but then stopped

Hey, everybody-

Just now, 1037freefm.com was redirecting to a "1059freefm.com" with a webpage for "105-9 Free FM" with references to WCKG in Chicago.

But, the wckg.com website remained up and it looked completely different, with no mention of "Free FM" on it.

About ten minutes later, 1037freefm.com stopped working, as did the other freefm websites that I know of from FMQB. But, I did make screengrabs, FWIW.

I thought it might have been a smokescreen since there was a picture of Tom Leykis on the 1059FreeFM webpage, and he's not cleared on that station (I don't think), but then they took the site down.

I was linking to the websites listed in this FMQB article:

And here are the images I got - I was able to connect to this 105-9Free FM thing through a number of links, 1069freefm.com, 923freefm.com, 1037freefm.com, and one or two others. Not all of them, though - 925freefm.com didn't do anything.

Sorry its so weird, "freefm2.jpg" is a screegrab of the top half of the homepage. "freefm2-b.jpg" is a screengrab of the bottom half of the homepage.

"freefm1.jpg" is from when I voted in the online poll. I was the only one who's voted so far...huh! Funny, that!<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by willie67 on 10/24/05 01:59 AM.</FONT></P>
